Janka Paulovics is a landscape architect, urbanist and advocate for conscious design.
She grew up in Budapest and spent weekends in her grandparents’ garden, climbing the old chestnut tree, collecting bugs and snails, wandering through the tall summer cornfields. Growing up in the city made those moments feel magical and shaped her lasting connection with nature.
After graduating with honours in Urban Design from Corvinus University of Budapest, she moved to Copenhagen to study Landscape Architecture. Her journey has led her across Europe, collaborating with studios such as Henning Larsen Architects and Topotek1, refining her vision of cities as inclusive and evolving landscapes.
In 2024, she founded her own practice in Berlin to further explore the dynamics between the city and its habitats.
