A new rooftop landscape in the heart of Berlin, exploring how resilience can take shape in a highly urban environment. Conceived as an inverted garden, vegetation is maximised along the edges while a wooden deck forms the inhabited centre. Wherever you are, the garden remains in the foreground, with dense meadow-like planting creating a sense of enclosure above the city.

The garden itself is a dynamic landscape system: alive, adaptive and defined by its capacity for change. Rather than a fixed planting composition, it draws from the processes and interactions of natural systems, where growth, competition and disturbance continuously reshape the landscape.
A living roof for people, plants and urban wildlife, designed to evolve over time.
