Within the historic Metropolpark in Berlin-Mitte, two existing courtyards are transformed into lush gardens for everyday life.

The design works with the strong geometry and preserved structure of the architecture, contrasting it with generous, naturalistic planting and softer garden spaces. Layered vegetation, rain gardens and water-retaining landscapes improve the microclimate and biodiversity, while spaces for gathering, playing and retreat strengthen life within the residential community.

A living garden that brings nature back into the heart of the historic building.
