Berlin’s vast open field is reimagined as a living landscape for climate, biodiversity and collective life.
Rather than building on the field, the proposal strengthens its existing character through unsealing, new habitats and a network of water and vegetation systems.

The Sea of Meadows remains at its heart, surrounded by an active Garden Ring for sport, learning and community. New development is concentrated along the southern edge, transforming existing industrial land into a mixed-use neighborhood connected directly to the field.
A resilient urban commons where openness, nature and city life coexist.
